IPhoneCaracterControl better understanding

Hi,

Is there someone who could explain a bit the "iPhoneJoypadEmulation2" AI ?
I mean there is an attempt in the Wiki area but it just explains a bit about the
other AI scripts.It just seems to me it avoids the most important part of the "IPhoneCaracterControl" sample.

I actually removed the other buttons, their code,and the code that was made for the right side joystick, basically what i have now is just the working left side joystick controlling the character.I understand most of the AIs in the sample and how they "talk" to each other..if anyone could explain with a bit of detail what happens in the "iPhoneJoypadEmulation2" - most importantly related to the left joypad stick - it wold be great.

Help ?
