Hi, is there any way to get the stream of raw audio data from music? I'm thinking of making the game react to music, though I don't think I'd want to write a C++ plugin... OpenAL could be a solution?

User "diffa" was using fmod library, but you have to pay $500 for commercial use, you may have already seen his thread:

Last time I looked at openAL it did not expose live buffers via API. But it's open so you could write a way in.
