Yes camera animation is done using path in Blender. No code or interpolation.

Actually everything is done in blender + sunflow for rendering lightmaps.

Very impressive pipeline :)

Do you export directly you camera path with the collada exporter of blender or did you use some internal tech (xml export -> import) ?

I use Shiva animation importer. As for blender i have animation using path and constraints for setting different points of interest. After everything is created i bake all motions to pure IPO without constraints and then export clip to shiva through collada.

I don't use for that any custom tool or script, only build in Blender 2.49 features.

As for lightmapping i written some python scripts for UV alignment and automate baking to one texture for whole scene.

I will make some tutorials about my whole pipeline after i will cleanup everything.

Hey,

I remember your first test some weeks/months ago while you were evaluating ShiVa, and already loved your style. This new WIP post confirms this feeling :) Really can't wait seeing more 8)
