Hi there,
i have a increasing number of users that complain, that my shiva 1.9 based game is not running (segfault) on Ubuntu with the Unity desktop (which is default on new Ubuntu versions).
Anything known about this? Any work arounds?
Thanx

I have tried running WaterSim on Ubuntu 12.04 (Unity), with no success so far. I could be missing something so I'll keep trying. I get a "No such file or directory" error in the bash shell, which happens when the execution permission is not set to the file but this is not the case. I used UAT 1.4 beta 2 for Windows to create this Linux package containing three files: S3Dclient.cfg; WaterSimLnx; and WaterSimLnx.stk.
Update: In Ubuntu 10.04 and 10.10 I get this instead:
"Loading Pack :
Data Pack : file://WaterSimLnx.stk
... S3DKernel initialized (memory used: 3859716, main thread ID: 0xb4c900)
OpenGL Error: Can't patch size is too small.(glXSwapBuffers)"
