Windows DX9/OpenGL 2 Standalone AppsIcon resolution problem

Hi ALL,
I´m learning Shiva and i have made some demos for windows but i have a problem with the icon resolution. When i make a Nsis installer and later i install it, the icon shows with low resolution in Windows.
I use icon fx and i make an icon container with many resolutions (256x256, 48x48, 32x32, 24x24, 16x16 all are 32bits ) (48x48, 32x32, 16x16 all 8 bits) (32x32, 16x16 4 bits).
What i´m doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

odd. does the icon look all right if you drop it onto the windows desktop alone, or is it pixelated there as well?
does this problem only appear with the NSIS installer build?
can we have a look at that icon (file), please?

Hi again Broozar,
Yes, it looks perfectly.
Yes, it only appears with low resolution when i make a NSIS installer. If i compile a NSIS Application, it works perfectly.
Sure. I have attached a rar file with the source image in PNG, a simple icon and an icon container with all resolutions.
Thanks for all your support ^^ .

thanks.
after the installation, can you confirm that the icons in the install folder look correct? (e.g. C:\ProgramFiles\YourApp)
only the shortcut looks garbled on my test pc.

Hi again Broozar,
Both icons still showing with low resolution (shortcourt and the other from installation folder).
The weird thing is when i open the multi icon from installation folder with IconFx. Only appears the 32x32 icon.
Any idea?
Thanks again.

when i create a nsis installer build, i get my program, installer, options panel etc. icons all non-pixelated. as soon as i try to create a shortcut, i get reduced to 32*32 as well, but only then. no idea just yet...
[edit]... ok, it really seems to be image dependent. i have 2 48*48 logos, one works flawlessly, one does not. strange.

I have found the error. It was caused by the great performance of windows 7 ¬¬. When you make an icon and you place it to the Desktop, windows doesn´t refresh it even if you make/modify new icons.
To solve this problem, i have to erase the icon cache of windows 7. For this reason windows showed only the first icon i made.
Now i only use a 48x48 icon and works perfectly.
Thanks so much for your help and sorry for bother you.
