Hi,
i want to create an embedded web browser component.can you guys drop in with your suggestions:
Goal: render html inside my shiva application via a browser plugin that is reusable (not using openURL)
My plan is
(1)Search online if there is an existing/incomplete component (so far none)
(2)Follow suggestions from the responses from my previous post (http://www.stonetrip.com/developer/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=22306)
(a)awesomium ruled out since it is too costly from me.
(b)C++ coding, i don't have too much knowledge of this either
(c)Chromium , i can see some light here since it is open source and seems to have good documentation
So can you guys please chime in and help me form a step by step process using which i can take a stab at this (please feel free to give links to other projects which did or are doing some work on this) so the steps would be
(1)Learn the basics of creating a plugin
(2)Select the best course of action (awesomium/C++/Chromium the easier the better)
and so on,
can somebody add more to this
Thanks in advance.
