My desktop icon is Crappy

Hi,

Using the authoring tools, i have exported my application with NSIS Installer type.
The install.exe icon is ok, when installed, the uninstall icon is ok, but the application and desktop icon looks crapy (like a 16*16 resolution icon).
I can't figure why.

When i export as NSIS application, icons are ok but i can't save and load environnement vars in my application (that's why i used the NSIS Installer).

Any ideas ?

Mine is not crappy. My icon isn't shown at all with the NSIS Installer. I mean there is an icon, but not mine, probably some default NSIS icon.

When I try to check the desktop icon after installing, Windows says the exe doesn't contain any icon.

Maybe the UAT installer output is buggy?

make sure your icon is 48x48 or your icon library (you can store several icon images in one ico file) has at least one icon with that size.

i like aicon http://www.towofu.net/soft/e-aicon.php - it loads my png files nicely and stores em all in one file.

My icons do have 48x48 size. They have transparency.

And also the 256x256 size is included, maybe that's the problem.
