2048x2048 textures

Hi,

Is it possible to export the textures at a resolution of 2048x2048 (IOS)?

i was import to shiva textures 4096x4096 for terrain(terrain was a polygon - not a shiva terrain) IOS or other i think no mean

iOS supports a resolution of 2048x2048, yes.

Not sure though if the much older generation devices do not, from memory prior to 3g the limit was 1024x1024, or that may have included 3g also.

But keep the resolution as low as possible to reduce mem usage.

iPhone 4 has the same GPU as 3GS hence the same resolution limits.

OpenGL ES 1.1 devices iOS have 1024x1024 (OpenGL ES 1.1 is iphone 2g, iphone 3g, itouch 1 and itouch 2 which also means 8gb itouch in 3rd gen days!)

OpenGL ES 1.1 devices iOS have 2048x2048, this means 3GS and newer as well as all iPads (ipad1 has same gpu as 3GS too)
