ShiVa Proof of Concept: Box Particle Lighting

ShiVa Proof of Concept: Box Particle Lighting

Postby error454 » 02 Jun 2012, 22:01

I have started a new code repository on github where I will be placing various self-contained Proof of Concept projects for the ShiVa game engine.

My goal is for each project to be small, self-contained and to the point. This is the first entry in the repository, there is a web-based demo that you can launch from my blog to see the project in action.

License for these projects is MIT, so feel free to use them commercially or otherwise for whatever you please.

I wish you good luck for your other project. I will follow that for sure :)

Thanks for sharing, but I'm not able to see the realtime lighting. If I open the option window of the engine appears a message which tell me that my video card has not updated drivers, I checked it but I'm using the latest version of the driver. Maybe there is a problem with web engine. I'm using a Win7 OS machine, with a Geforce GTX 560 videocard.

I suspect this might be a web player issue? Perhaps the beta player would work better. My graphics card is 3 years old and works fine. I can try publishing with the beta player when I get home or you could grab the project and run it in the editor. Let me know your results.
