Yuzrass and I made a little Test Application for testing our Game Ideas. But this Game will not be finished. So I make this Little App Open Source for everyone. Graphical Artists can Edit the Scene or Change the Player Model. It´s really Basic and not Perfect, but for an start ( Or till a better one will come out ^^), it should do the Job.
Here is the Archiv: http://www.minneor.rivido.de/test/3rd_person_cam_FW-0.01.ste
When there are some questions or Errors, plz post here.
Controls: Move Player -> W = Forward
S = Backward
A = Strafe Left
D = Strafe Right
Mouse move left = rotate left
Mouse move right = rotate right
Esc = Mouse Hide\Unhide

Hmm I think I'm doing something wrong, I've imported the archive into Shiva, loaded the scene and pressed the play button, but the little man won't move around the level, he just runs in place when I press the W key.
Also, the camera won't rotate, it's fixed in place (I tried pressing the ESC key to toggle the cursor on and off).
What am I doing wrong?
Cheers.

Sorry Nicox, I am very new to this and I don't know how to do that :lol:. This is what I've done so far:
* In the 'Data Explorer' viewport I clicked Import > Archive and I imported Clockmaster's '3rd_person_cam_FW'.
* In the 'Data Explorer' viewport I double clicked the entry, which added it to the 'Game Editor' viewport.
* In the 'Game Editor' viewport, I clicked the 'Scenes' tab and then I double clicked the '3rd_person_cam_FW_scene' which loaded the scene into the 'Scene Viewer'.
That's as far as I've got. What steps am I missing?
In the 'AIModel Editor' I did try to open the AIModel, but I couldn't find it in the list.
Thanks for your help.

OK, try this :
* In the 'Data Explorer' viewport I clicked Import > Archive and I imported Clockmaster's '3rd_person_cam_FW'.
* In the 'Data Explorer' viewport I double clicked the game entry, which added it to the 'Game Editor' viewport.
* In the 'Game Editor' viewport, click Menu Game > Compile
* Hit F9 (or the 'play' button in the top right corner of ShiVa)
:)

Mh... I made a Test with an empty Projekt, imported the Archiv, loaded the Game and the Scene, pressed play and it works fine without Compiling. But Try to recompile, it can´t be wrong ^^ (Look at NicoX last Post). The Camera Rotates Only, when the Mouse moves left\right ( Mouse Pointer should be hidden, when not, press ESC ).

It was my own silly fault. I didn't create a new project for it, I just imported it into the Samples directory. My bad!
When I created a new project and tried importing it again it worked perfectly!
*Sigh* I have so much to learn :lol:.

I´m happy that it now works for you. Every Start is hard, but believes me, it is worthwhile oneself.
