ShiVa 1.8.1 beta available !

Hi all,

ShiVa 1.8.1 beta is now available on http://beta.stonetrip.com for registered users. This version should correct most of the bugs found in 1.8.0, and adds some new features such as HUD multilingual support. Please test and report any problems so that we can correct them for the official release.

You'll also find the iPhone Authoring Tool 4.4 beta (including Bluetooth networking and initial OpenGL ES 2.0 rendering support), and a JS to test the new Web Player Engine. Again please test it and report any compatibility problems (OS version, browser type, GPU model).

Holy Moly! It sure is faster. Here's a tip though for some people (anyone who wants to read it hehe):
If you use counters in States to keep track of things, those States are going to run a LOT faster than before, so it is better to rely on time differentials as opposed to counters now ;)

the weird thing is that it says 1.8.0 while I download 1.8.1 beta

hi,

You download the 1.8.0 version if you click on "Download Stable release" which is the lastest stable version.
You have to click on "Download Beta release" to download the 1.8.1beta.

Since some users are reporting bugs, I guess that the links are correct.

Could it be, that your Firewall blocks the request?. Have you checked this?
