Really great work NiCox, I've been waiting to choose tech for my next game project for just this reason.. wanting to know how the flash will work.

I'm really looking forward to seeing this.
Last night I tried to fire it up on my laptop (winXP, chrome/firefox, 256Mb Nvidea), but no joy. OK, didn't want to rain on your parade, so I though I'd wait and try it on my works machine, Win7, 8Gb RadeOn, but still no joy.
I see the loading, initialising, but then an error on all 3 demos.
ShiVa looks really interesting, I hope I'll get to try it in Flash soon.
Cheers!

As for mobile: Stage 3D is not supported on mobile at all and as mobile flash will not get developed further it won't be.
The only way to go with it to mobile is take the stuff and fire it through the AIR compiler which is a total overkill as flash will always perform significantly worse than the output of shiva and even marmelade

You cam make it a web monetized app with flash or make contract with flash game portals out there.
Facebook, google plus, etc are also a nice idea.
You can get a good amount of money, the same goes to the web plugin solution.
You can also distribute it as a standalone application with the AIR platform, tho its not any better than the standart standalone stuff.

Nicox, the Unity implementation is unable to provide networking (http, etc) support in the Flash export. I know it's early in the process, but do you think Shiva's implementation will be able to support the Shiva Networking API?
As to making money with Flash games.. yes, yes, and more yes!

Pretty granted no, Shiva uses UDP too (like Raknet on which Unity Network bases) and UDP is not existing in Flash at all.
Realtime low latency / action networking automatically means 'you won't go to flash or silverlight'

Yes, that is the immediately available external prognosis, but you never know what tricks someone has up their sleeves. There is also a solution or 2 that forwards UDP to TCP (for things like Kinect). I think it was called TUIO. Anyway, you never know!

As Flash has a socket API, we should be able to provide networking support. What is sure is that we'll give it a serious try.
