Uhm, i have built the flash but it appears to crash in the init and the screen turns black...
This is the game for webplayer:
http://videojuegos.ser3d.es/demos/seasons.html
and this is the flash version:
http://videojuegos.ser3d.es/demos/flash/seasons.html
after a while it should be appearing...¿?
I am using Flex 4.6.0 - build 23201.
Is it right?

I saw there are some notes on beta portal about limitations - maybe your game has something that is not supported for the flash version yet - enviroment variables or something (if I remember correct). I haven't tried with own games - but will do tommorrow - maybe with a HUD-based game, one MainAI with its variables - nothing additional

Works great so far!

Though with moderately large scenes it did have much lower fps compared to normal stk player performance, even with azoth.

Is Flash going to have antialias?

Thats normal that performance drops. Other engines with flash targeting have shown massive performance drops from their native / webplayer vs flash targeting (worst case so far was in Unity on my tests with one example going at barely more than 10% of the speed it had in Unity).
Anything thats math heavy just suffers from the fact that flashs execution engine is a really weak compared to native code executions with light VMs ontop in optimized environments like shiva / unity / ... web players and there is nothing that can be done about it. Even when using HAXE instead of Flex or god beware Flashs compiler, the delta is still massive compared to python / lua / mono / ...

As such stuff like streaming terrain, heavier dynamics usage and just heavy calculation like AI might cause some major performance delta. There are naturally also shader related things that cause deltas cause things need to be done in more complicated ways in AGAL to fake stuff that it does not offer while DX / GL / GLES do.

Also some stuff just does not work on AGAL at all (no idea why they didn't simply adopt OpenGL ES 2.0 like Google on Chrome NaCl but its Adobe, isn't it)

But all in all the first release looks pretty neat

Hi,

@juaxix: ok, we repro. We'll look into this, but might be related to grass shader or something like that (we have a shader generation error in the "debugger").

Is Flash going to have antialias?

Yes, please fill a bug report about that (don't forget to add "FLASH:" as a prefix in the title).

But there is no place in the UAT to turn on antialiasing. So this is not a bug, only lack of feature.

Yes, please add it to the features list.
