Just purchased ShiVa Editor Advanced. Look forward for Flash export :D
It seems I can only activate on one computer, if I need to work on a laptop or a computer in different location, what should I do?

you can re-assign another computer any time and any amount of times - on http://www.stonetrip.com main page->your account-> "Licenses management" -> "migrate license"

or just install the shiva web edition just to use for developing on other machines and used your licensed one for deployment. That is what i do. I have the web edition installed on a thumbdrive to take wherever i go but my licensed one is at home. With the thumbdrive i dont have to install on multiple systems.

My problem is because I want to use the svn function to access my svn server. That's the biggest reason for me to purchase Advanced edition. I will try the migrate function later.

I tried the migration function on web today, very nice and easy. I registered my home and office PC to access my svn server.

The svn integration really nice, and free! Unlike Unity required to buy additional Team license to use the Asset Server.

yet the svn support requires no payed license at all as 3.5 moved the meta support to free

Asset Server != svn / git / hg ;)

The svn support in Unity is a joke, the setup is not professional and user friendly, and you need use command line or an external tool like TortoiseSVN outside Unity to work with the repository.

I don't have Asset Server license, but from the manual, the only additional things that ShiVa hasn't are the user administration, and some developer chatting/update. User administration is a trivial task for svn administrator. If I need developer update, I can use Redmine, combine with SVN, much powerful than Asset Server and free of charge

You see, this is the first time we are allowed to publicly communicate on this outstanding project. And this is only the first. See, there is a lot going on currently you as customers can't yet see, but is totally worth the wait. Enjoy this game trailer in the meantime :)

Nice, looks interesting.

Certainly does seem to be some nice momentum with projects using shiva, with the success of Nekro funding, non-flying soldiers, and this (plus the others i've missed)...

Congrats to the developers, and also to the stonetrip team who really should be proud seeing their tools actually used on these nice polished titles. :)

One positive thing.. Kinect support seems to exists..... but I noticed no destructable environments :(

It would be cool to destroy stuff as you cast your fireballs etc. Is there a fair easy way to do destructible environments in Shiva?

The game looks absolutely awesome (not only graphical-wise).

It would also be interesting to know, how a bigger project like this is structured, and which issues the devs ran into.
We e.g. use a lot of user.getAIVariables, which probably isn't optimal.

Is there any chance of getting a (technical) post mortem? =)
In case it's not a secret: how far was stonetrip involved in the project?
How much feedback came from the devs (which had impact e.g. on the scripting api)?
